About This Site
Shimizu Cruise Guide is a local media site for cruise passengers calling at Shimizu Port and travelers visiting Shimizu and Shizuoka. We publish port-day guides and sightseeing information in Japanese and English.
Our concept: the morning paper you read on the day your ship arrives at Shimizu. Each port-day guide brings together the arrival and departure schedule, weather, transportation, model itineraries, and local events — organized to be useful on that very morning.

I plan and run the Shimizu Cruise Festival, an event at Shimizu Port where visitors from Japan and abroad mingle with the local community, and I work on other projects that connect cruise travelers with local people.
